How Do I Find The "full Path" For A Script??
« on: May 28, 2004, 04:44:54 PM »

Hi All,
Sometimes when installing php scripts the script will require the "full path" to the folder it's in. Ok so how do you find the full path? Easy! Just copy this code:

Code:
<?$path = getcwd();
echo "Your absolute path is: ";
echo $path;?>

Now go to your file manager, and in the directory the script is in create a new file. Paste the code above into it and name the file "path.php". Then in your browser go to http://yourdomain.com/scriptdirectory/path.php And that little script will show you the full path you need.
