Cpanel File Manager
« on: August 13, 2003, 02:08:22 PM »

Note: this does NOT apply to the 10 meg account...

Folks who are used to file managers other than the Cpanel file manager might be a little confused upon first going into their directory through the Cpanel file manager. You won't see a "root" directory. This is just the way Cpanel is set up. For ALL of your files, pages, folders that are to be accesible from the web just put them into the "public_html" directory. If you put all of the images and files for your main page into the public_html directory then the url for your index.html page will be yourdomain.com If you want to have a seperate folder of say images then just create that new folder inside public_html and place your images in it. Then the urls for your images would be yourdomain.com/images/filename&extension

Don't worry you will get used to it. And remember if you have a problem or question just post them in our support forum.
