Attatchment Grabber Question
« on: July 10, 2005, 12:28:07 PM »

OK, I tried to extract the images and only the ones that ended in jpg would comeup.  Here is an example of the images posted at the grabber site. Someof these were the pictures IN the body of the emails that I wanted to get instead of scrapbooking them.

Examples:

The ZboX Attachment Grabber

Hi Suz,
Hmmm did any of the "inline" images come up? Also what file extensions were the others? The Grabber will only accept .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, and .png. Other file types such as .bmp or .tiff etc it will not read.

I guess by "inline" you mean the pictures that were already viewable in the email without having to click on to a separate attatchment?   Those were all those strange code things I guess.  When I clicked  on them i just got the "information WebTV cannot use" pop-up, so it must be some way that computer users send pictures.  The 2 jpg's that were the click on attatchments were 'grabable' and I got them.  So I guess I still have to scrapbook the picts that are sent directly.  wah!   Oh well, can't have everything.   :rolleyes:The grabber is still a great tool for those other attatchments.

That is interesting Suz as I have tested "inline" images and they have all worked. I'll send you a test image so we'll have a reference and you can see if it works.
