Msntv 2.8 Users Unable To See Board Correctly?
« on: August 18, 2003, 05:45:04 AM »

It's been reported to us that MsnTV 2.8 users have to highlight the text here on the board in order to read it. Our MsnTV box is using 2.6.1 and it shows up fine for us. OBVIOUSLY this could be a major issue here, so if some MsnTV folk could tell me how the board looks it would be appreciated!

Well apparently it isn't an issue with the new 2.8.1 upgrade. We took that today (yes we have and love our webtv box in addition to our pc's) and the only issue we have noticed is that at the bottom of the screen here there are the little "envelope" icons. Next to them is text telling what those icons mean. We can't see that text on 2.8.1 but so far that is the ONLY issue we have noticed. And if that is the only problem we'll take it. LOL! These boards in addition to using PHP use alot of w3c compliant CSS. Frankly I'm suprised the board works as good as it does on webtv. /me keeping fingers crossed!

Hiya Donna,
At this time, you will need to mail ZboX, with your new password, so it can be changed, for you. The next version of the Webtv File Manager will incorporate that.

Thanks V. Since I posted that we have also gone over to 2.8.1 and there are only a couple of things we can't see. But to get around that all we have to do is "cmd A" and we can see the missing text. And it's only on a couple of non important things.
