When we create your ZboX account, Cpanel automatically creates an email address using your ZboX accounts username. That is not a "real" email address. The "Default" email address is just a catch all address for unrouted spam. By unrouted spam, I mean mail that is sent to "admin@yourdomain.com" or any other email address that you don't actually have on your account. Unrouted mail that goes to your Default email address is set to "vanish" in an option called :blackhole:. When mail goes to :blackhole: it is just deleted. You can also set the Default email addres to :fail: which means unrouted mail is bounced back to the sender. You can set :blackhole: and :fail: in Cpanel in the "Email Management Tools" section, by clicking on the "Default E-mail account" link.
Ok, what if you want to actually use your accounts username for an email address? Simple. Just create a new email account with your username as the email address. To do that just go to Cpanel's "Email Management Tools" section, and click on the "Add / Remove E-mail account(s)" link. When you are in that page, just click on the "[ Add Account ]" link, and set the email address, the password, and the quota of your webspace you would prefer for that email address.
When you want to check your email, in Cpanel's "Email Management" section, click on the "Read Webmail" link. When that page comes up, click on the "This webmail belongs to the main account. If you want to access other webmail accounts, go to http://yourdomain.com:2095, or http://yourdomain.com/webmail. Then click on the "Logout" link at the bottom. Then login with the full email address you want to check as the username, and then the password you set for the email address. When you get to that page, pick your email client of choice (Horde and Squirrelmail will require you to login in again with your full email address) and you'll be good to go. You can of course also use your PC's email client. More info on that is here:
