2-Qs about valid email submission/confirmation

2 quick and hopefully easy questions.

1st (Bert) is there a Zbox cgi/perl script available for form submission???
(i'll check the script repository now)

if not i can search for one and try to install it

2ndly .. i know there's a way in cgi or perl to validate an email address as valid or invalid

do you know the code or can you direct me to a place i can find this info?

Ok i see in the script section i had a very similar question about the mail.cgi form at
http://zboxhosting.com/board/index.php/topic,233.0.html

I had trouble getting it installed but will try again real soon and reply about it.

thanks.. no replies needed at this time unless someone knows of an 'easy to install' form script for info submission.

Hi Timmer,
While it's not in the repository (an oversight I will rememdy shortly) here is the best formmail script out there as far as security goes:

http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/formmail_compat-3.14c1.tar.gz

As for the ease of installation there's the rub. Give it a shot, and any problems you have post them to this forum. That way we'll have how this script works archved. I believe this script will validate email addy's also. I could be wrong about that though.
