Snowed in!
« on: January 16, 2007, 12:55:34 PM »

Well at least for the rest of today. So far we've got about six inches on the ground and a good two or three hours of snowfall left. Our Mustang is parked over at my brother in law's market. We got that far after Rox's doctor appt this morning. It was snowing when we left for the doc's and it snowed very hard during the hour and a half we were there. We couldn't get out of the clinic's parking lot ROFL! Fortunately someone with a front wheel drive care made some tracks to follow so we could get out ot the lot. But we got stuck twice just going a quater mile to the market. So we decided to get some supplies at the market then we had a friend with a 4 wheel drive jeep give us a ride home. The snow is supposed to stop later this afternoon, but the temps aren't going to get much above freezing. But if the city or ORDOT would salt the roads in town at least we could get our car back LOL!

LOL Jer. A 4wd is on our list. But it's not a priority as this much snow here is rare believe it or not. The elevation here is around 1500 feet and the snow level rarely drops below 2000 feet. Besides if I would have had a 4wd, I would have had to spend the day getting mustangs and other rear wheel drive cars unstuck LOL!
