What 'ya got there??

This weekend we will be upgrading both Mig and Aries to Cpanel 11. We are anticipating no issues during the uprade process and also no downtime. We don't have a definite time for our upgrades as all servers at the datacenter will be undergoing the same upgrade. If there is an issue we will post it here in our forum or if a server goes down will inform everyone in the ZboX EIC at:
http://zboxhosting.info/
Cpanel 11 will bring some very cool new features. We will let you know about those new features a little later in the "Announcements" board.
Webtv/MSNTV users please note. Some of the new Cpanel features will not work for Webtv/MSNTV. Those features that won't work are mostly geared to PC users and concern uploading and downloading files from a hard drive which Webtv/MSNTV isn't able to do anyway. All of the current Cpanel features that work with Webtv/MSNTV will still work.
MSNTV2 users please note. All of the new features for Cpanel 11 will work for your set top boxes.
The Ziteman file manager will work as always for all platforms.
As always if you have any concerns over this upgrade or issues after the upgrade please let me know via email asap so we can address the situation.

Me and cpanel, we be tight. Well.. we used to be. I clicked on cpanel in siteman for the 1st time today. The load time for webtv takes much longer than before <sigh>.
When I did arrive, the new look is not near as simple as the previous look. Is there a 'look and feel' that is more webtv user friendly? Not the color preferences but the layout design. All of the fonts are currently way too big for me (client 2.9.1) and so I could use a little help here on how to choose the one that remotely displays the cpanel features that like it did before. clues?

P.S. Plus I screwed up and selected a 'NOT PERMISSION' style because I couldn't make out what words were in that little gray rectangular box. I found out quickly. Now I can't change it back because I have restricted myself <sigh again>.

Just for the benefit of other WebTV/MsnTV users, what are the features that we USED to be able to access that we can't access now? For ex. WEB/FTP Stats. No sense in me floudering around in cPanel to discover what you already know Bert.. lol. A simple list will do. That way other webtv folk can print out a copy of the post to add to there 'Don't Even Try This' folder at home. <hehe>

Thanks Mr. Bert for all of your help tonight with CPanel 11 and all the info on how to seek and destroy unwanted diskspace. I inched just that much closer to actually knowing what I am doing ;) Keep up the good work my friend.
