Cpanel 11 now on Mig
« on: June 24, 2007, 04:02:57 PM »

The Cpanel 11 upgrade on Mig is now complete. Now before you go running off and looking in your Cpanel for those new features, I haven't activated them yet. I do have a bit more testing to do in some actual user accounts of mine before I release the new features. We did have a testing server that we've been using for the last week to try and scope out any issues. However due to the limits of that testing server we couldn't test all account scenarios. Right now the good news is that Cpanel 11 is working just fine on Mig. And as soon as I can get some definitive answers on how a couple of the new features works on all platforms they will remain shut off. The other good news is there is no bad news! Ziteman works perfectly, and all of the features you had in Cpanel 10 are working perfectly under 11.

More info asap.

under c panel 11 preferences there is a area titled theme changer.

i was trying different themes and clicked X i believe.

Now i'm locked on that theme cause if i click the theme changer icon it says

(you don't have permission to view contact your provider)

Did i do a No no ? Or is that the way you have cpanel set to operate ??

Hi FC,
Sorry I haven't posted more information about this. The Cpanel "X" theme you are talking about is a "legacy" theme. It's there as a fall back in case anyone (particularly Webtv users) have issues with the other themes. I can change you back to whatever theme you would prefer, just let me know. And you are right. Once you go to the "X" theme you are stuck there. Another word of note here is that the Cpanel "X3" theme will not work for Webtv users. The CSS will blow up and all you will have is a long line of icons running right down the middle of the page on Webtv. PC and also MSNTV2 users should have no problems with X3 or any of the "RV" themes.

Hi FC,
I've switched you back to the "Rvlighblue" theme. Let me know if you have any other problems.
