It was our honor to actually get to visit Di twice. Once in 2004 and again in 2005. This pic is from our first visit in 2004. We were at "Miyagi's" her fav sushi restaurant:

Me and Di hit the saki pretty hard that night. Rox didn't care for it. Understandable as it is an acquired taste. She was just a joy to be with and was almost as much a comedian as myself <G>. Back at her place I showed her the inner workings of ZboX right from the infamous LBB that controlls the lady&silver ng. She was shocked that I could handle so much of ZboX from her Webtv plus. The night went on and finally me and Rox bedded down in the "scary clown room". ROFL! She didn't call it scary, but I got a thing about clowns! She had a name for each room in her house which were decorated in different themes. The bathroom was all sea creatures. Di was a collector from hell. Her small backyard was amazing. It was Gnomes. And I'm talking all Gnomes all the time LOL! Frankly her backyard was more of a patio as she had a townhome. But there were Gmomes everywhere. I asked her how many gnomes she had, and she told me she lost count a long time ago. It was a wondrous place to hang out with our friend. And me and Rox will always cherish the memories of our time with her.

Di and I had emailed at one time as I had asked her about Silver. He had helped me with something I was working on and this touched her heart when I told her.
As I recall, she was in Dallas, Texas. I may be wrong. Your thoughts are touching and know she is at peace.
Lila.

I was so sorry to hear that Di passed. Been a rough week as I just got an email from a former co-worker who's back on chemo as her remission has come to an end again. As weird as all this is - it's even odder that I'm right now listening to Pantera - Cemetery Gates!
Di's now in a place where there is no pain and it can only be better with her arrival. But we're sure gonna miss her here - and in chat.

What a great pict Bert & Rox. Thanks for showing it to us. Sounds like you had a fun time with Di, funny but I always thought about Di when i would go out for sushi after i found out she loved it too. I'll be thinking about her at future sushi pigouts for sure. Yep.. gonna miss her lots and lots. I wonder what will happen to the newsgroup now. It sure won't be the same, but i hope someone will keep it going. And Sarge. I worry about him. I hope someone is seeing to him and his needs too.
