We need some feedback on this, if you use the ZboX MagickStudio.
Thanks...;-) Rox

Well I gave it a shot - and the old way seems to work better for me - the coalesced version looked more like it was flashing that shimmering.
This is with the coalesced animated shimmer -

This is with the old method - with the loop set to 0 and the delay to 1 (didn't seem to be any different set to 0 -

This is the old method - with the loop set to 0 and the delay at the default 20 - the animation is a bit slower -

However - it still doesn't "glitter" like my sig - which I made ages ago. However - that is not a "sparkle" gif - so I will try one with a sparkle (that's what my sig is)

OK - here's using a glitter gif and they seem basically the same - now granted my static image in my intials - not my intials over another gif.
the old way -

the new coalesced way -

Good question!
With IM it's usually good to follow the upgrades since not everything will be supported in the way that they were - as noted in the coalesce tute. However, if you stick with what we have now - we know it still works - at least to do a regular ani sig. Now to add glitter to a graphic - like some of the stuff tht Josh does - that may prove a different beast all together. I don't get into it that deeply any more.

Hence the reason I never DL a personal version of it (I had considered it) and prefer to use the online versions - then I just have to deal with the changes - not try to make sense of them!
