Some tips to help you set up your email for sending and receiving through outlook express:
Use your full email address as your POP3 username (ie. admin@domain.com)
Do not log-in using Secure Password Authentication.
Your SMTP Server requires authentication to send. If there are any authentication problems, go to Tools > Accounts > Properties > Servers. Then check the box that says " My server requires authentication ", click Settings. Type in your username and password, hit OK, then OK again. Restart Outlook.
Again, use your full email address as your login name. Again, no secure password authentication.
Also, it is advisable to set your sendmail port to "26" as most ISP's are now blocking port 25 for spam protection.
Make sure your mail servers are set to:
mail.yourdomain.com
Note: this also works with Thunderbird. The settings might be called different things in Tbird. If you have any problems please email me and I'll guide you through it.
