Just this morning I found out that my websites will be moving to zbox soon. Nice to see that you have a webtv friedly forum for us. Do you use SMF "out of the box"? I use phpBB and had to make my own heavy duty filters. They work so good now that I leave one forum open for public posting and it gets just a few spam per year.

I have a PHP tutorial about 75 pages long so far but I'll wait to see what happens after the move before I post them. At least you have PHP5 so I don't expect a big change. Switching from PHP4 with register_globals on to PHP5 with register_globals off was a pain.

I see a couple of familar names here. Most webtv users are reluctant to try an forum type that thy are not familar with s it is nice to see any at all.

Hi Mike,
Welcome! Yup we use SMF right out of the box. I've only added a couple of mods to it that keep the spammers out. We used to use Phpbb for this forum and a couple of others. But I've since switched them all over to SMF. It's just much easier to update than Phpbb was, and it does work fairly well for Webtv users.

Hya Mike and welcome aboard...
I've admired and linked some of your pages... I wrote you several months ago for a page to link and you graciously supplied it.

You have some good options I was unable to include easily in a script of my own without a lot of study.
It was much easier to link your good work  beer

Besides that (unfortunately) i gave up webtv after 10 years of frustration so I ain't able to test stuff on it anymore

1st I sold mimes.com
and now am planning to replace 1mime.com with another name when it comes due
in another month or 2

(heck i needed the html practice anyway and I see learning php is more than I want to take on right now)

My latest obsession was a frameset I use on my Pc as my home page...

Where possible, I'ld use include instead of frames. Partially my webtv bias since frames don't always work well with webtv, but also for search engine indexing.
