Why no notification of the changeover?
« on: February 02, 2008, 12:42:41 PM »

I found the information in a newsgroup. I check my email regularly and didn't receive any notification of the changeover of PDhomes.

I'm glad our accounts didn't just disappear into cyberspace but I sure would have appreciated knowing about it before tripping over that thread in the newsgroup.

Saying all that, I thank you for picking up the ball.  smile

Hi Nelly,
I don't believe everything is set up at Domania/Amish/PDhomes that it's possible to email all members. That will change in the future however. Paul did announce it at Observerco and in the Domania forum.

I don't go to Observco often. It's been over a year since I had a question and now I don't even remember what it was.  laugh

Just now I tried to go to Observco via your link and the page wouldn't load, then I got the "connection has been reset" probably because the server is busy (one of the reasons given).

I also tried to go to it via my PDhomes log-in page and same story.

I'll check it out later.

Thanks for responding.

Nell

Thanks for the l

Nelly the problem is the servers are seriously overloaded. They are very low end and have no where near the resources they need to. I'm going to be moving ya'll over to some much better servers in the near future. I'll just need ya'll to bear with me for a bit while I get this done.

Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. I didn't mean to sound so snippety.

Thanks for all you're doing. You've taken on a big load on top of the one you already have.
