Payment question
« on: February 16, 2008, 01:19:17 PM »

Hi Bert,
I've paid via Google Checkout before and prefer it over PayPal. Can I still use that now? The Google option is still on the Domania invoicer, and I noticed the updated address for mail-in payments. If Checkout can't be used, then I'll go ahead and mail my payment. Thanks!  smile

Hi Sugarcrisp,
Actually I'm in the progress of getting the Domania invoicer changed over to my Google checkout account. Let me check into some things and I'll see if I can't get that up and running later today.

Google checkout is now enabled for the Domania Invoicer. Paypal however isn't quite yet. I'm hoping to have Paypal up and running by tomorrow.

Hi Bert,
I need help in getting my payments posted on my file manager. I have not had any of my payments posted since April, 2007.  I have wrote several letters and posted several times on Domania's help site.  I made my last payment on January, 2008, which would have made my next due date April 11, 2008. I pay with a money order. I will include my information on this post.
I think Paul has my payment information, but I have been unable to get a response.
Thank you,

This has been taken care of. Please reload your file manager and you will see the correct date.

And I know, lots of folks due dates have not been updated. The main issue right now is that the Domania server is so underpowered, that when I try to do administrative functions it slows the server down even more, which is not good for you folks that are trying to go about your day to day business in your accounts. So naturally I try to stay away from doing that. I try to do things late at night, but even that can cause issues as it seems many of you are night owls, and I don't want to disrupt anything ya'll are doing. And I do need sleep from time to time <G>.  So it's a Catch 22. The other problem is that the Domania billing system is ancient. And I'm sure Craig had an easy way of handling it all. Problem there is that since Craig's passing, Paul did the best he could with a system that he had to guess on how it all worked. And I am having the same issue. However I do have a plan to fix this. Once I get ya'll moved over to the new server, I will implement a new automated online billing system. That will alleviate any of the issues everyone currently has with billing.

I know, ya'll are waiting for these changes I talk about to take place. And they will, but it's going to take a bit more time. The member base for Domania is large. And therefore I need to do this right. I'm not going to rush this and leave a Bert sized hole in the wall in the process.
