What End of Life means is that after a set date (8/8/08) Php 4 will no longer be supported by the folks at Php.net. After they stop supporting it, Php 4 will become a major security risk as there will be NO security patches for it. So sometime between now and August we will remove Php 4 from our servers. I'll give ya'll plenty of warning before hand. The best thing you can do is start upgrading your scripts to Php 5 now. The sooner you get that done the less you will have to worry. The DAP servers will be handled differently. But even for the DAP servers we will be removing Php 4 by the start of August. ~;-) Bert |
