I've been trying all day to follow links to my account in pdhomes and follow links to amish hosting account. Firefox can't find server for either of them.

Hi Velma. What links are you following? Are you talking about your filemanager? And I'm sorry but I don't know which accounts those are.

The account at pdhomes is randr.

I keep getting the message, "firefox can't find the server, etc".

Hi Velma,
Ah ok it's just the DNS is slow update for you. What ISP are you on? I can see those links just fine.

Domain Name: ITY2.NET
Registrar: DIRECT INFORMATION PVT LTD D/B/A PUBLICDOMAINREGISTRY.COM
   Whois Server: whois.PublicDomainRegistry.com
   Referral URL: http://www.PublicDomainRegistry.com
   Name Server: NS1.DOMANIA.ORG
   Name Server: NS2.DOMANIA.ORG
   Status: ok
   Updated Date: 07-apr-2008
   Creation Date: 18-oct-2005
   Expiration Date: 18-oct-2008

Give it another day or so. It's there but some ISP's just take forever to update.

Velmaneu I'm on my pc right now using Firefox and I can open your urls with no problem.

The reason why you can't open them yet is because your server hasn't refreshed it's DNS cache yet. It's still looking for your files at the old server instead of the new server.

I can get into my files with no problem because my server has updated it's DNS cache but I still can't upload my graphics to some of the online image tools or to my secondary webhost accounts because those servers haven't updated their DNS cache yet.

Haven't tried randr, I'll give it time to settle in before I hit it again.

I don't know my isp number, but I'm on centurytel.net if that's any help.

Thanks guys.  Velma aka mamadog
