Canthook is on a different server than any of the D/A/PD sites.

I don't think that's because it's a different server, but because it's a different file.

The more I read the less I understand---

Before the PDHomes moved to new servers,,, I had no problem with any gifs or jpgs loading into email sig.
Now ,,none of them load

What is the difference between the file at canthook.com and the copy of it I beamed to pdhome. ?

Hi Erv,
I just read some of what's going on with your sig. I am not famillar with how MSNTV2 lets you use sigs. I don't know if it would make a difference, but in your sig code that you posted I noticed you have the height and width of your image before "src" like below:

Code:
<img width="300"height="218" src="http://pdhomes.net/senior/erv/jpegs/lighthouse.jpg">

Maybe try it like this?

Code:
<img src="http://pdhomes.net/senior/erv/jpegs/lighthouse.jpg"width="300"height="218">

I really don't know if it will make a difference. Also I don't understand using the "iframe".

One other thing, I don't know if MSNTV2 will allow you to do this,but..
Could you put the whole sig on a web page, then embed it in your sig??
Example:

Code:
<html><body bgcolor="#ffffff"text="#000000"><center><table bgcolor="#ffffff"border="0"><tr><td align="center"><embed src="http://URL OF PAGE HERE.html"></td></tr></table></center></body></html>

Just a thought

Hi MisRox,

MSNTV2 does not allow embed of a webpage ,, thats why I used the Iframe..
I used the Iframe in an attempt to display a page with gifs and jpegs. that are being blocked ( only show a red X )when directly entered into the email sig...

ALL of these worked before pdhomes was moved...

MisRox

I linked to an image on your gallery
http://misrox.com/pickle/picKLE-albums/Native/arrowsun2.jpg

and it loaded into my sig

then I beamed it to my pdhomes file and that won't load........
your page indicates you or on Zbox server...

Hi Erv,
I am looking into this problem you are having. Hard to track down but we'll find it.

Hi Erv,
Yah that did help. Seems one of our security programs rules was set a little too high. Better too high than too low. One of the reasons that I wanted to move to this provider is because of the security of their servers. They are locked down pretty tight. Maybe a little too tight for the Webtv/Deuce environment, but we'll get it sorted out. I'll let you know when we have this problem fixed.

Erv,
Try it now, and let me know if it works, and if not, let me know any errors you get.

Ok Erv,
We're getting closer. Probably just some more tweaking to do. I'll let you know when I think I've got it.

And I still can't find the file you've asked for.

Do you suppose you typed the address incorrectly?
