I've already explained quite a bit of what is going to happen here:

The new "Capricorn" box has been purchased and should be online by late tonight. It will take a day or two to get the current Amish/PDhomes users transfered over. Once that's done, I'll start on Domania. Once I start transferring Domania over to the new server it will be advisable to NOT make any changes to your websites etc until the move is done. Normally when a server is moved the old and new server are linked together so that they constantly mirror each other until all of the DNS has propagated and you can shut down the old server. Like the Amish and PDhomes servers Domania is severely underpowered. So the constant syncing will most likely overload it which makes syncing useless. So once the move starts I will warn everyone to not do updates. Please pass the word along to the webtv ng's when I do. I'll also call or email most of the PC based Domania users to not update. I want to get this move done fast so ya'll will be in a much better environment. Once it's all done and we get everything tweaked it will be like the old Domania. But even better!

Good Morning Bert and I'm Sorry to write so early but I can't help it.Is it safe for me to work in my d21c.com file manager and to upload images from my 'puter to d21c.com FM?
Thanks for your work and help Its appreaciated and I don't want to ball up something using d21c.com so am writing to be sure .

The transfer of the PDhomes/Amish accounts are still ongoing to the new box. Hopefully this will be completed late tonight. Then we'll officially move over to the new box. At this point it looks like I'll be able to start the Domania move Sunday night. I'll let ya'll know as things progress.

There was a snag in some of the transfers of the Amish/PDhomes accounts. That issue has been fixed and we will finish those transfers tonight. We will "hit the switch" and officially start running off the new box tomorrow night. So I should start transferring Domania Tuesday morning. I'll post here when I start the move and also the Domania members area will be replaced with a message about the move.

It's 9:45pm EDT... is my server being messed with? It is a rather inconvenient time.

beautiful. a just added new directory, an upload and two files have this minute been wiped out of existence.
Sorry Bert. Just saw your reply. But that won't save the new files that have disappeared will it? Bad timing on my part.

OK Bert. We'll see what the morning brings... it ain't the end of the world. I can't even access my FM Bert. I get this when I try... Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@sandycor.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. ooopsie.

Hi Folks,
The switch to the new box has been completed. I'm going to start transferring all Domania accounts over to the new server starting tomorrow morning. You will NOT be able to access the members area or file manager until the DNS has propagated for you. That could take some time. You will get a page instead of the members area/file manager that tells you the move is ongoing. Once you start seeing the members area/ file manager again then you will know the switch has taken place for you and you will be on the new server.
