Seems something is overloading Cap and it's not accessible. We are working on it and I'll update asap.

The server became so overloaded a reboot was required. We are investigating this issue so it doesn't happen again. But Cap is back up now and working fine.

No problem. It seems a users custom script went wild and overloaded the server so bad it required a reboot. Because the lock was so bad that it required a push of the "reset" button a file system check was forced for the hard drives. That's what took the reboot so long. But all is well now and I'm having a little "discussion" with the owner of that script.

Upon further investigation it wasn't a user script at all that caused the problem. What actually happened was the cable that connects the main hard drive to the motherboard had somehow worked loose. (this is a brand new server after all and possibly when the tech put it together they didn't check to make sure they had the "click" on the connector.)

The reason I thought it was a users script was when it all started going south that script was the main program running on the server and all I could see was it eating cpu cycles. That script was actually running when the cable came loose. I have emailed the user of that script and informed them that it wasn't their script at all. And of course with my apologies.  And I am overnighting a roll of duct tape to the datacenter so they can make sure all of our connections are secure.
