PDHomes, the transfer to zbox
« on: July 06, 2008, 03:59:45 PM »

WOW! look at all those smileys!!

Well, this was unexpected! I was looking to sign up a friend to pdhomes and discovered ya can not. Which brought me here. So I do hope the transfer of my account at pdhomes goes well, if it does I hope to bring on board a few other interested people!

Bert has soothed my pains of my abrupt loss of my site in august! I did not receive an email regarding the closing of pdhomes even though my account info was accurate and upto date.

So, some questions about how this works...my questions seem to come to me half-hassardly so bare with me!

I sign up for 25megs...go to paypal send payment...
Will the 25megs replace what is now showing when I currently log into pdhomes? (space remaining...space used)

I am under the impession that I should see no difference in my work area of page building (I don't know what that area is called!) yes?

Can I link to images in my files like to ebay as I now can currently do?

I have a domain name at another service... saratogaartist.com ...is this affected in any way? Or perhaps it may be better if my domain name be transferred as well?

ah heck, I gotta go check on some ebay stuff...I'll be back

Hi Bob,
I have already upped your diskspace to 25 megs. As for payment, all you need do is send the $25.00 via PayPal to zbox@zboxhosting.com, or if you don't want to do PayPal just snailmail a check or money order to:

Bert Pourchot
214 Klenke LN
Canyonville, OR 97417

Currently we are no longer accepting credit cards over the phone. That was just too expensive to keep going for the amount of folks who used that option.

But wait there's more! (Always wanted to say that LOL!) If you feel you would need more space than the 25 megs we have a special deal for current PDhomes users. We are now honoring the Domania pricing structure for existing PDhomes accounts only. Here's the Domania payment page:

http://domania.info/paypal.html

Please do not use that page to pay for your account unless it's a check or money order. If you would like to pay via PayPal just log into your PayPal account, click the "Send Money" tab and send the amount for the space you desire to zbox@zboxhosting.com and please provide your username for your account and the amount of space you would like.

Everything that works now at PDhomes will continue work for you Bob. Yes you can link your images to Ebay or anywhere else you so desire. And nothing will change in your PDhomes account except for the amount of diskspace.

Your domain name with your other host will be in no way affected by this.

~;-)

Can I still use google to pay for my pdhomes account? I'm not due right away, just read about the auto upgrade. That's Ok. specool

Hi Velma,
Yes you can. However for PDhomes paid via GoogleCheckout it's best if I send you an invoice from Google.
