Mine seems to be working now. I'll try getting a script for Lila. Oh, BTW, you should see it too. It is supposed to show Imagick's methods but it recently started listig them in another language.

Hi Bert-

Is this the same area of problem from back in April

Quoting you

 "Seems one of our security programs rules was set a little too high. Better too high than too low. One of the reasons that I wanted to move to this provider is because of the security of their servers. They are locked down pretty tight. Maybe a little too tight for the Webtv/Deuce environment, but we'll get it sorted out. I'll let you know when we have this problem fixed.

Bert "

I don't think so Erv. When I load the page the background comes up fine. But if I want to see a new background I will have to reload a few times. But that being said it seems more like a cache issue than anything. I clear my browsers cache and boom, new background.

This is weird. When I started, the results was non-English but by the time I finished adding the font lister for Lila, for the first time in days, it listed the methods in English. And it now lists Distort and Wave and a LOT more fonts!

http://eclecticdjs.com/mike/temp/08/07/get_class_methods.php

Code:
<html>
<body bgcolor="white">
<?php
function list_methods($name)
  {

# get all methods

$methods get_class_methods($name);

# sort

sort($methods);

# remove duplicates

$methods array_unique($methods);

# make a header

echo "<h1 style=\"text-align:center\">
         Methods for $name Class</h1>"
;

# make ordered list of methods

echo "<ol>";
  foreach (
$methods as $key=>$val )
    { echo
"<li> $val<br>"; }
  echo
"</ol>";
  }
# end of list_methods

list_methods("Imagick");
list_methods("ImagickDraw");
list_methods("ImagickPixel");
list_methods("ImagickPixeliterator");

# list fonts
echo "<h1 style=\"text-align:center\">Fonts Supported by $_SERVER[SERVER_NAME]</h1>";
echo
"<ol>";
$fonts_obj = new Imagick();
$fonts $fonts_obj->queryFonts();
foreach(
$fonts as $key=>$var)
   { echo
"<li>$var";  }
echo
"</ol>";
?>

</body>
</html>

Hi Erv,
The background loads for me each and every time. I do need to clear cache in order to see a different background though.

Also--
if I click on a link then use the back key to return to the page ( btw- it happens on more than one page)
it loads with no background.

Erv

Erv,
How did you clear your cache?

Mike, is yours loading a background or do you need to reload?

On msntv2

settings

select-
Clear Web page history--
Delete the list of visited Web pages in your Recent list and Type www list

I made another backs.text list ouf URLs and that seem to be working
The one I was using was a list of URLs of backgrounds supplied by PDHomes

When I reload both the photo and the background change. If it isn't changing for Bert, maybe you need to add an anti-cache script to it

Erv,
I think that's because the premissions are set to 750 for that pdhomes directory. I'd rather not change that, so if you could use your own images it would be appreciated.
