Why not just get the url of the finished image and beam it into your FM? I always found that easier than fooling with ftp.

I just tried it on my lbb with the upgrade of 2.9.1 and getting a url at this Gifworks- http://www.gifworks.com/cgi-bin/gifworks.pl?com=transfer_open works the same way it always has for us on webtv.
Take your gif to Gifworks,do whatever you want to it and then click onto File, then click onto Save.
On the next page go down to where it says- WebTV users: and directly below those words you'll see "click here"--click onto that and you'll be able to view your graphic and grab it's url.

Hi Rox :) It's been atleast a couple years since I've used Gifworks, since getting my pc I haven't had a need for Gifworks but it's good to know it still works with webtv--just in case my pc crashes !

I remember the 'click here' on webtv,, but with msntv2 , I don't see it
I see this--
To save your image to a remote server you must have FTP access (or Transload access for WebTV users).
Enter the host location (i.e. ftp.yourserver.com) and your username and password below. To save to a specific directory on the remote machine simply append it to the host location, i.e. ftp.yourserver.com/images/. Unless you alter the remote image name your image will be saved as "tweety_4751.gif". NOTE: The information entered below is used to perform a basic FTP/Transload transfer. Your username and password are not encrypted.
I went there usig Nancy's posted link to be sure it was the same one....

Erv, I know it's a little late, but after you finish working on your image, don't click on "Save". Just go directly from the page with the finished product to a source viewer that extracts images, like:
http://www.expandinghead.net/tool/source.pl
Click on "Extract Images" then scroll down 'til you see your image with the URL below it.
You never know which source viewers will be working, so here are some others:
http://www.wtv-zone.com/cbird3/ref/src_view-dd.html
HTH!
