This is where you wiIl be once you have logged in and it will show all of your main "Directories". | ||
| Creating A Directory | ||

You will have a pop-up which asks for you to name your Directory. Type in the name you want for the Directory. Example: images, mids, gifs Then click on "Make Directory". Example of what the URL would look like using a subdomain account: http://username.zboxhosting.com/images Example of what the URL would look like using a top level domain account: http://yourdomain.com/images You will then see that New Directory listed below in your "Root". | ||

Just below that you will see a"File URL" and to it's right a place to put the URL of the image that you want to Beam. You can delete the "http//" that is there and CCP the URL of the image, into the space. After you have CCP the URL, you will see the file name appear in the space just below. You have the option of renaming the image, if you like, or leave it as is. In most cases, you will leave the file extention, the same. Example: .jpg .gif .mid etc. Next, click on the "BEAM" button right beneath. That's it! Scroll down and you will see your image file. | ||
| Creating A SubDirectory | ||

Example: You have a Directory called "animals". You can catergorize different animals, by creating a "SubDirectory" and name it dogs, cats, horses etc. To create that "SubDirectory". ( In my example I will use animals as my main Directory ) I would go to the Directory animals. To make a "SubDirectory" click on the "Mdir" button at the top of the page. You will have a pop-up which asks for you to name your Directory. Type in the name you want for the Directory. Example: dogs Then click on "Make Directory". You will then see that New SubDirectory, dogs listed below in your animals directory. Example of what the URL would look like using a subdomain account: http://username.zboxhosting.com/animals/dogs Example of what the URL would look like using a top level domain account: http://yourdomain.com/animals/dogs Note: Whenever a Directory is made, it will automatically create a blank "index.html" file into that Directory. It is advised to keep the blank index.html in your directory. If it is omitted you are leaving your directory open for "all" to see. | ||
