How do I?
Resize An Image and Extract colors
  • Note: This does not work with animated gifs.

    Off to the right of your image file, you will see it's width and height.

    Example: 100x100

    Click on the width and height.

    There are 3 ways you may resize your image.

    Smart

    Set either the width or height to what you want and the other will automatically be set.

    Percent

    Percent will give you a drop down menu of different percentages.

    Individual

    This lets you put in the width and height of your choice.

    As you pick whichever size you want, it will display the image, as that size.

    When you have your image to the size that you want..Click "Done"

    Next is a page where you "Confirm Resize and Submit"

    On this page, you can rename the image, if you like.

    There is also, a Quality button, which lets you set the the images, "Quality" or compression.

    When you are done, click Resize or Cancel


    "Extracting Colors"

    While on the resize page, below the image, you will see a "Extract Colors from this Image" button.

    Click on the button.
    Next page, you may click on your image and get the Hex color code, of your choosing.
    You will see the color and the hex color code.

    There is also, a text area box for you to copy and paste, and save the hex color code.

    For MSNTV users. A little trick that I use:

    After I copy the color codes, I hit my find key and paste the color codes there, for future reference.

    If I am working on a webpage ( in edit) , using that image, I paste the color codes, temporarily, at the top of my page.

    This makes it easy to try out the different colors, as I am previewing and working on the page. ..;-)
    • Rename A File
  • Off to the right of your File, click on "Rename"

    You will get a pop-up, where you can type in your new name, for your file.

    Click "OK"
    • Image Uploader (Vidcap)
  • Note: This is for MSNTV Plus Units, Only.

    This is located at the bottom of your Directories.

    Click on the pic of the "Camera".

    If you are wanting to get a picture from your VCR, Video Camera, or Digital Camera..
    Click the small buttton to "Video"

    If you are wanting a picture off of the "TV", click the button to "TV"

    Choose the frame from the TV or Video.

    Click "Freeze"
    Click "Add Picture"
    Name your pic, ( it will be a jpg ) then click the "Upload" button.
    • PC File Uploader
  • Note: This is for PC Users, Only.

    Go to the "Directory" where you want to put your file.

    At the bottom of the Directory you will see your "File Uploader"    .
    Click on the"Browse" button. A popup window will appear, which allows you to browse your folders.

    Pick the folder, then click on the file, that you want.

    Next, click the"Open" button.
    Your file will show in the Uploader.
    You may continue, to browse and upload up to "6 files".

    Once done, click the "Upload"button on the right.

    You will then be taken to the "Upload Status" page.
    This page shows which files were uploaded.

    Click the "Back To Directory" button.
    That's it!

  • MSNTV2 users will also, see the"File Uploader" like PC users.

    Click on the "Browse" button.
    This will access your units photo/image storage area.

    From there you will be able to upload your photo/image into your Ziteman Directory.
